We recently hosted two Destiny Kamps for over 250 children in the city of Cagayan de Oro in the Philippines. They were the most powerful children services I have ever been a part of in over 40 years of children's ministry. The presence of the Holy Spirit filled the room and impacted every child - and all the workers! One girl saw Jesus as we began worship, and wept through the entire worship. She was trembling and still weeping at the end of service and could barely talk to describe what she had seen. Another boy was miraculously healed of a reading disability when we prayed for the children to receive the Holy Spirit. He told his father the Holy Spirit had given him "the gift of reading!" To see a room full of 5-12 year old children completely lost in worship to Jesus is an amazing and beautiful sight - and one I never tire of seeing.
It's an honor to serve the Lord in this way - and to be His hands to reach "the least of these."
