What a time we had in Kenya! Almost 60 church leaders and children's workers attended the children's training - some driving for hours. Among them was a pastor who oversees several village churches among a tribe in the mountains that missiologists still consider to be "unreached." We also held a 2-day Destiny Kamp for children ages 6-12 with almost 400 in attendance! Many prayed to receive Jesus, and on day 2 many received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues. The pastor said his 8 year old daughter spoke in tongues for the first time. Later at home he heard her in the next room fervently praying in tongues - and then praying in English: "God send us to the nations! Let us go into all the world and preach the Gospel." Out of the mouth of babes! What a privilege to be a part in raising up the Next Generation to fulfill the great commission.
I also assisted in a Leaders training where several leaders were healed and set free from demonic oppression. The power of God was evident. We ended the week washing the feet of those precious leaders. We are all one family - serving one another and each doing our part to spread the Gospel.
It was so good to be back in Africa after not being able to go in 2020 because of Covid. There is a possibility of returning to Kenya later this year. We will see what the Lord does.
