The trip to Ethiopia last May/June was amazing. I worked with a remarkable church, Beza International. I ministered in their children's services and did a teacher's training. The highlight for me was being able to talk to several classes at a community center Beza supports. The children at the center come from very destitute families, and many are unchurched and/or muslims. What a joy to share with them their value to the Heavenly Father. I taught from Psalm 139 and told them of the unique and special plan God has for each one of them. And of course, taught them the way of salvation. Their beautiful faces are forever ingrained in my mind.
Looking ahead to 2020 - I will be returning to Uganda after the first of the year, and possibly going to Burundi in the summer. (Another new African nation for me.)
Africa's population is booming; the majority of the people in many nations are under 25. The fields are white unto harvest! What better time than now to reach all the children we can for Jesus
